The Story

Collaboratively designed by OFF STUDIO and TNT, the Six Realms Magnetic (HE) Switches are available in two custom editions – HIFI and Silent – featuring exclusive, specially developed precision moulds (with a mould accuracy of 0.005mm and injection accuracy of ±0.01mm) for exceptional stability and performance. Both editions use a POM stem, custom transparent PC top housing and modified PA66 bottom housing (engineered specifically for a muted sound profile), with polygonal stem and optimised top/bottom housing design to enhance structural stability from the base.

The HIFI Edition boasts a polygonal stem and oversized SU304 spring for ultra-smooth, stable keystrokes. Fitted with a large-area, medium-mounted N52 magnet (customised for enhanced magnetic flux), it delivers reliable Hall effect sensing with no misfires or temperature drift. Unlike most magnetic switches that tend to produce sharp, crisp sounds, this edition features optimised mould details and material pairing, working with the modified PA66 bottom housing to achieve a muted, high-quality sound profile – balancing magnetic switch performance with the mellow tone favoured in custom mechanical switches.
The Silent Edition includes all the premium features of theHIFI Edition, plus an exclusive patented silicone silent structure (integrated within the stem, a departure from traditional side-mounted silicone designs). This internal silicone structure contacts the top of the bottom housing’s stem hole for bottom-out silence, with a specially designed small silicone stem wall to reduce rebound noise – solving the stability issues of traditional silent switches (which require larger gaps for side silicone, leading to stem wobble). Leveraging the magnetic switch’s metal leaf-free design for further noise reduction, it offers two spring weights: lighter for alpha keys and heavier for larger keys (to compensate for the added weight of the internal silicone structure, ensuring sufficient rebound for larger keys).

Both editions feature the latest fully automated factory lubrication, specifically developed for high-precision magnetic and silent switches. Custom automated equipment was procured to tailor the lubrication process, minimising operational noise while preserving the switches’ smooth, clean feel and outstanding performance – ensuring both editions are ready for use straight out of the box, with a perfect balance of stability, performance, feel and (for the Silent Edition) ultra-quiet operation.
